Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury & Insurance Bad Faith Law Firm

Join a firm where your work is meaningful and your professional growth is a priority.

We are a plaintiff-side civil litigation law firm focused on personal injury and insurance bad faith cases. We are currently seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a remote position, but applicants must reside in the Puget Sound region of Washington state. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

As a Legal Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping cases moving and clients supported. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, renaming, and filing documents within our case management system.
  • Scheduling meetings, calls, and court-related events; managing attorney calendars and case deadlines.
  • Providing overflow phone support and speaking with clients to provide updates and gather needed information.
  • Drafting templated correspondence and legal documents using firm tools and software.
  • Sorting scanned mail and faxes into case files and managing outgoing mail, including occasional trips to the post office.
  • Collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal assistants in support of our shared goals.

Who You Are

  • At least one year of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
  • Prior experience in a plaintiff-side personal injury firm (preferred).
  • Familiarity with legal case management software, lead management systems, and Microsoft 365 (especially Outlook and Word).
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and solid communication abilities.
  • A compassionate, professional, and upbeat demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • A self-starting mindset and the ability to handle routine responsibilities independently without constant direction.

Who We Are

We are trial lawyers—not settlement seekers. Our firm is built around service, excellence, and accountability to one another. You’ll find support and high standards here, along with a commitment to work-life balance. Our core values guide everything we do:

  • We Own Our Work — We take pride in doing things right and being reliable
  • Collective Excellence — We support one another, share in success, and expect personal accountability
  • Kindness and Diligence — Our reputation is built on how we treat others, including each other
  • Asking for Help — Strength means recognizing your limits and learning from your team
  • Work-life Balance — Burnout doesn’t help anyone. We want our team to thrive, not just survive

Compensation & Benefits

  • $55,000 – $60,000 annually, depending on experience
  • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and other PTO
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities (both objective and discretionary)
  • Advancement potential within the firm
