Dan McLafferty

Founding Attorney

Dan began his career defending insurance companies against the people they insured. He learned a great deal about insurance companies and how they operate. Ultimately, Dan found that working for insurance companies and large corporations just isn’t for him. He is proud to have spent the remainder of his career working for and with people who need help getting justice. During that time, Dan has obtained multiple seven figure recoveries, through both trial and settlement, for his clients.

Dan is a founding member of Bastion Law who focuses his practice on personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith.

Experience

Dan is a founding member of Bastion Law who focuses his practice on personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith. The idea that insurance companies and corporations often skirt or openly violate rules governing their conduct at the expense of individuals drives Dan throughout his practice.

Dan believes that by doing his job well and full preparing a case, he can put his clients in the best position possible to decide the outcome they want in their own cases when they’ve been wronged. Dan is licensed to practice law in Washington state. After spending his childhood as a military brat moving all around the country, Dan has called the Puget Sound region home since 2001. He lives in King County with his wife, Liz, and their two young children.

Dan tends to spend a few years on one hobby before shifting to the next, but in his down time he can usually be found arguing trades in fantasy football, grounding out in rec league softball, and occasionally working on his whiskey appreciation skills after putting the kids to bed.
